For Smaller Deployments
Highly-available environment and low-cost option for remote office/ branch office, edge computing, and IoT environments.
Low-Cost, High-Speed Networking
Leverages Intel Thunderbolt technology to eliminate the need for costly network adapters and switches. Provides up to 40Gbps throughput.
Simple 2-node Hyper-Converged Infrastructure
Provides high availability and storage for enterprise applications with over 10TB usable capacity in mirror configuration.
Small Form Factor
Saves space with a footprint more than 50% smaller than a standard 2U rack server.
“Project Kepler-47 was a proof-of-concept that was born during our development of Storage Spaces Direct. We had a high-performing, resource-efficient and budget-friendly product in Storage Spaces Direct and we wanted to see if it was possible to create a low-cost appliance that could run Storage Spaces Direct to meet the needs of small and ROBO deployments.”

DataON MUST

Infrastructure Visibility and Management Tool

DataON hyper-converged infrastructure and appliances include DataON MUST, which simplifies data center management and helps enterprise customers transition from traditional SANs to a Windows Server-based hyper-converged infrastructure.

MUST integrate with Windows Admin Center to provide a seamless experience for customers to use both Windows Admin Center and MUST through a single pane of glass. It also provides expanded functionality such as historical data reporting, disk mapping, system alerts, and SAN-like call home service.

Dashboard Level Metrics
MUST delivers SAN-like storage monitoring features through a single pane of glass, providing real-time dashboard level metrics for IOPS, latency, throughput on cluster nodes and volumes.
Fully Integrated with SM-API
MUST utilizes the Windows Storage Health Service API built into Windows Server 2016 to monitor Storage Spaces Direct.
Pre-Configured
All DataON WSSD solutions are pre-configured with MUST at no extra charge.
System Alerts
With system alerts based on Windows Health Service faults and SAN-like call home services, systems administrators will be automatically notified of hardware failures, configuration issues and resource saturation.
Single Pane of Glass
MUST provides advanced cluster monitoring, performance metrics, system health statistics, and automated system alerts.
