DataON DNS-2608 Storage Enclosures for Windows Server 2016

As part of a Windows-based storage solution, the DNS-2608 helps to reduce complexity and cost from deploying a traditional SAN backup. Using a virtualized environment provides greater flexibility and scalability as your backup storage needs grow.

Tailored to withstand storage capacity demands in a hyper-scale data center, the DNS-2608 provides exceptionally high storage density while delivering outstanding low dollar-per-GB costs for cold, warm and even hot storage workloads. It also leverages high-efficiency power to maximize performance-per-watt savings to reduce TCO.

The DNS-2608 supports 2.5” 12Gbs/s SAS HDDs or SSDs in a 32-bay, 4U chassis. It is also equipped with redundant hot swap drive bays and power and cooling modules. It has single and dual I/O controllers for redundant and maximum availability, supporting up to 4800 MB/sec bandwidth per I/O controller.

The DNS-2608 is designed and optimized for Microsoft storage tiering for performance and capacity. It is certified by Microsoft to seamlessly deploy with Microsoft Server 2016.
