This white paper demonstrates the high-performance storage and virtualization capabilities for a Hyper-V virtualized application using the Scale-Out File Server platform in Windows Server 2012 R2. The platform uses industry standard servers, disks, and JBOD enclosures. With the block storage made available through Storage Spaces combined with the Scale-Out File Server in a failover cluster, we can deliver extremely high levels of storage performance and resiliency similar to a traditional SAN using Microsoft Storage Solution and inexpensive shared Direct Attached Storage. The results demonstrate the levels of storage performance that can be achieved from virtual machines running Hyper-V a single Scale-Out File Server using shared Storage Spaces:
Tiered Storage Spaces offer the best of both SSDs and HDDs: SSDs for your current working set and HDDs for everything else in your dataset. In this session, hear the design team's deployment guidance, learn how to leverage the Tiered Spaces report, and how to use Windows PowerShell to automate your deployment.
Learn how you can deploy Storage Spaces as the infrastructure on which your public or private cloud runs. We demonstrate how to deliver cost efficiency, availability, and performance at enterprise and hosting scale. We also present the solutions that are available and certified today.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.
Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser.
The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
