IOPS and performance-optimized, all-NVMe flash server node

Built with 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® processors, DataON S2D-5224 server nodes deliver a choice of single or dual-CPU socket performance and flexibility in a 2U form factor. Supporting up to 1.5TB of DDR4 memory per server, high bandwidth 25/50/100GB networking and all-NVMe flash storage, these innovative designs provide a superior and reliable server for traditional IT, intelligent edge appliances, data center, and hybrid-cloud software-defined applications.

Designed and validated through rigorous industry testing, all DataON S2D-5224 server nodes are certified for Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and are the basis for validated Intel Select Solutions from DataON. Transforming these Intel-based industry-standard platforms to server nodes, the DataON S2D-5224 eliminates expensive OEM hardware taxes and required service and maintenance contracts, while offering high-performance, reliability and access to emerging technologies at a fraction of the cost.

As the basis for validated Intel Select Solutions, DataON S2D-5224 server nodes simplify evaluation and eliminate guesswork via tightly specified hardware and software components. Intel® Optane™ solid state drives (SSDs) help eliminate data center storage bottlenecks and can accelerate applications, reduce transaction costs for latency-sensitive workloads, and improve overall data center TCO.

DataON S2D-5224 server nodes deliver power and performance at peak efficiency, reduce heat and noise, and minimize eco-footprint. With built-in TPM 2.0 security, enterprise users get an extra layer of security, ensuring data stays safe. Integrated with DataON MUST monitoring and visibility software for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI solutions, DataON S2D-5224 server nodes also provide integrated Baseboard Management Controllers (BMC) with an embedded Web server so system administrators can gain location-independent remote access to server hardware.
