DSM 3.1 software is integrated with Nexenta NMV GUI, it saves time in management of storage enclosures (disk shelves) and provides for accurate and reliable monitoring tools includes allocating disk drive location, failed drive identification, FRU parts status reporting and through Nexenta Email System to send email alert to user.


With a single deployment, IT Administrators can easily manage multiple JBODs and review FRU and JBOD operational status such as fan speeds, temperatures and voltages. DSM 3.1 arms IT Administrators for easily and accurately depoying Zpool creation and expansion under NexentaStor GUI.
