CompuCraft is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) focused on delivering IT Support and cloud management services to their regional clients. The company first learned about DataON via Ignite with the introduction of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Storage Spaces. Having 25 employees and targeting customers with 50+ employees, the company was ready to revamp their own data center based on the Microsoft software-defined data center platform. By deploying 16 VMs across the platform running exchange server, FTP server and other applications and running Hyper-V VM is the hosting environment while leveraging client monitoring tool via Red Hat Linux.

The company was looking for an easy to deploy and scalable hyper-converged appliance with predictable workload, HA and failover capability, with reduced costs and delivering improved performance without dramatically increasing IT budget. They also need a product that ran all Microsoft enterprise applications in a Microsoft Hyper-V virtualized environment with continuous uptime and no single point of failure.

The Solution: DataON Microsoft Hyper-Converged Cluster-in-a-Box (CiB) Appliance

DataON Microsoft Hyper-Converged Cluster-in-a-Box (CiB) appliance engineered from the ground up to scale highly-available compute and shared storage services in a highly efficient and energy saving condensed footprint.

Customer Benefits

CompuCraft benefited by an easy and simple deployment experience, while being able to manage all virtualized VM on single Hyper-Converged box with compute nodes, shared storage, predictable workload and failover capability. While also giving them the best price-performance platform that delivers resilient and HA infrastructure with high IOPS and low latency. Lastly, being able to consolidate platform into single Hyper-Converged box with predictable workload and failover capability.
